REGIONS AND DIVISIONS

The NMRA in Canada has four regions, which span the United States and Canada.  Below is a list of the regions and divisions which operate in Canada, the Niagara Frontier Region which includes most of Ontario, the North East Region which includes Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, the Thousand Lakes District which includes  Northern Ontario (West of Thunder Bay) and Manitoba and Pacific Northwest Region which includes Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and the territories.  

Niagara Frontier Region

Central Ontario Division
 (no web site - see NFR Region home page for contact information)
In Ontario - Durham, Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth (the area east of the line from Rockwood to Peacock Point and North of Highway 6), Hastings, Metropolitan Toronto, Northumberland, Peel, Peterborough, Prince Edward, Simcoe, Victoria and York.

International Division

In New York - Erie and Niagara counties.
In Ontario - Hamilton-Wentworth, Brandt, Haldimand-Norfolk (excluding the area described in the COD and WOD), and Niagara.
Ontario Northland Division

In Ontario - All territory east of Thunder Bay and North of the SLD, COD and WOD boundaries. 

St. Lawrence Division

In New York - Jefferson and Oswego counties.
In Ontario - Frontenac, Glengarry, Grenville, Lanark, Leeds, Lennox-Addington, Ottawa-Carlton, Prescott, Renfrew, Russell and Stormont.
Western Ontario Division
In Ontario - Brant, Hamilton-Wentworth, Bruce, Dufferin, Elgin, Essex, Grey, Haldimand-Norfolk (the area west of the line from Rockwood to Peacock Point), Huron, Kent, Lambton, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford, Perth, Waterloo, and Wellington.

North Eastern Region

Aloutte Division

Pacific Northwest Region

6th Division:
Alberta, Saskatchewan, Eastern Montana and Nunavut

West Boundary: The West boundary of the Province of Alberta extended North to the 75th parallel and the West Borders of the Montana Counties of Glacier, Toole, Pondera, Teton, Cascade, Meagher, Broadwater and Park.
South Boundary: South border of the state of Montana and the South boundary of the Province of Saskatchewan East of Montana.
East Boundary: East Boundary of the Province of Saskatchewan and the East border of Montana.
North Boundary: The 75th parallel.
7th Division:
British Columbia and the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
East Boundary: East boundary of the Province of British Columbia extending North to the 75th parallel.
South Boundary: South Boundary of the Province of British Columbia.
West Boundary: the waters of the West coast line and the Eastern boundary of Alaska.
North Boundary: The 75th parallel.
